VICSWIM has provided Victorians with fun and educational aquatic holiday programs since 1976. VICSWIM focuses on learn to swim and water safety skills, both in pools and open water venues across the state. VICSWIM now offers new locations to meet increasing demand.

VICSWIM seeks to ensure that all Victorians have the opportunity to access water safety, survival and swimming programs for both, that maximise safety and attitudes ensuring confidence and the ability to enjoy aquatic environments.

When can I enroll in VICSWIM 2022?

VICSWIM Bookings are opening on the 16th of November 2021 at 10am .

How much is VICSWIM?

The cost of the VICSWIM Summer Kidz program is $35 per week, and includes 5 swimming lessons – one each day, Monday – Friday.

There will be a booking fee of $5 to ensure the VICSWIM Program complies with COVID-Safe requirements.

This booking fee will apply when you make a transaction. This fee is not per child, per week or per class.

This fee assists us to comply to COVID Safe requirements. Including purchasing of sanitisation equipment and PPE, communications (including signage) and additional administration to implement COVID Safe plans at our venues. We also have introduced new technology to support improved contract tracing.

What age group is VICSWIM for?

VICSWIM is open to children aged 4-13.

When is VICSWIM 2022?

The program runs across 3 weeks across January at various locations throughout Victoria in 2022.

Exact dates for VICSWIM 2022 are as follows:

Week 1: January 3rd-7th

Week 2: January 10th-14th

Week 3: January 17th-21st

What to bring to VICSWIM

Below is a list of what we recommend you have on hand for VICSWIM:

  • Bathers (a rashie or top is essential if outdoors)
  • Towel
  • Goggles (if you have some)
  • Wetsuit (if you are swimming in open water and have one, not compulsory)
  • Spare clothes – especially a warm jumper on cold days
  • Thongs or sandals, or shoes and socks on cold days
  • Sunscreen (if outdoors)
  • Bottle of water
