VICSWIM has provided Victorians with fun and educational aquatic holiday programs since 1976. VICSWIM focuses on learn to swim and water safety skills, both in pools and open water venues across the state. VICSWIM now offers new locations to meet increasing demand.

VICSWIM seeks to ensure that all Victorians have the opportunity to access water safety, survival and swimming programs for both, that maximise safety and attitudes ensuring confidence and the ability to enjoy aquatic environments.

When can I enrol in VICSWIM 2024?

Bookings for VICSWIM 2024 will be opening in late 2023, with the exact date to be confirmed.

How much is VICSWIM?

The cost of the VICSWIM Summer Kidz program is $35 per week, and includes 5 swimming lessons – one each day, Monday – Friday.

Please note: Week 1 of the 2024 program will run Tuesday to Friday, and will not run on the Monday public holiday. The weekly charge will remain at $35 for the 4 lessons, however, lessons will be extended from 30 to 35 minutes during this week, to make up for the lost day.

There will be a booking fee of $7.

This booking fee will apply when you make a transaction. This fee is not per child, per week or per class. This fee assists us to ensure the safe delivery of VICSWIM.

What age group is VICSWIM for?

VICSWIM is open to children aged 4-12.

When is VICSWIM 2024?

The program runs across 3 weeks across January at various locations throughout Victoria in 2024.

Exact dates for VICSWIM 2024 are as follows:

(not running on the public holiday January 1)  
Week 1: Tuesday January 2 – Friday January 5 2024 
Week 2: Monday January 8– Friday January 12 2024 
Week 3: Monday January 15 – Friday January 19 2024

What to bring to VICSWIM

Below is a list of what we recommend you have on hand for VICSWIM:

  • Bathers (a rashie or top is essential if outdoors)
  • Towel
  • Goggles (if you have some)
  • Wetsuit (if you are swimming in open water and have one, not compulsory)
  • Spare clothes – especially a warm jumper on cold days
  • Thongs or sandals, or shoes and socks on cold days
  • Sunscreen (if outdoors)
  • Bottle of water

Get Active Kids Voucher Program

VICSWIM is an approved provider for Get Active Kids. You can redeem your voucher code with us. 

To do so

  1. Edit your student’s profile, and add your unique code in the box “Active Kids Vouchers”
  2. Code will automatically discount your eligible student’s enrolment cost to $0.00

Please note, the Get Active Kids vouchers are only redeemable per eligible student, not the entire family’s transaction. They also do not cover the booking fee. Please see our terms and conditions.

Can I drop my student off and leave? 

No, students must be under supervision by their parent/guardian at all times during VICSWIM. Please see the supervision policy for further detail.
